    hi firepip superstar

ref:order 11 OCO do u always do this type of trade?

my broker laugh at me when i order OCO – he said i buy high sell low.

also, can y give your signals earlier pse,,, it seems you are in the money already when i get your email, tks.

Firepips thank you very much. Only thing I am struggling with is the timezones you have up here. How do I know when it is right time to execute my order I live in Johannesburg South Africa. I just want to get my time synced with yours I have read threw the FAQ section and still don't understand.

  9. FirePips 21 January 2010 at 10:12 am #

    Hi Haniff,

There is nothing wrong with OCO order. You broker won't be laughing when you withdraw profits :)

As you may already know signals are based on Price Action and we look for trades every 4 hrs, which are then posted on Twitter and Facebook.

Emails updates are send only once a day. If you like to follow us in real time then I suggest using Twitter or Facebook. Also read http://forex.firepips.com/forex-signals/

    Hi Jan,

    Try this link http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meetingtime…

5PM EST is 0000 Hour candle

9PM EST is 0400 Hour Candle

    and so on…

  11. Jan 21 January 2010 at 10:25 am #

ok now i understand it better thanks buddy, do you send the signals out on facebook aswell or only post a link to here from facebook ?

  12. Pierre 21 January 2010 at 10:34 am #

Watched out @ duskacopy & tradestation

These are broker for heavy one… min 5K$ and big margin.

Definitely not for modest halftime trader as me.

What's bad in this is for exemple : GBPUSD FXCM's quote mini was 1.62430 @ 12 UTC time, that triggered OCO sell order and so on, maybe your brokers have slightly different quote that hasn't triggered.

For convenience when you close a pending OCO can you specify stop loss for eventual passed order?

  13. FirePips 21 January 2010 at 10:40 am #

    Hi Jan,

Both Facebook and Twitter are updated with signals in real time.

  14. FirePips 21 January 2010 at 10:46 am #

    Hi Pierre,

GBPUSD Sell order has been triggered at 1.6245. I usually don't send such updates until the next 4hr candle time.

Sure, I can update the Stop Loss in terms of price rather than size, once the order is triggered.

  15. Jan 21 January 2010 at 10:48 am #

ok so that means if you send out signals on 17:00 pm your time it will be 00:00 am in my time right ??

  16. FirePips 21 January 2010 at 10:53 am #

That's right Jan. That's when we start and then every 4 hrs from then on.

  17. Jan 21 January 2010 at 10:59 am #

aaah ok now I have it, sorry for all the stupid questions just wanted to make sure of things.

  18. FirePips 21 January 2010 at 11:05 am #

That's fine Jan. You helped me create a better FAQ page :)

  19. Ed 21 January 2010 at 12:20 pm #

On the CAD/JPY what is the stop loss when you move to break even after second profit target is hit and third begins? Does is mean to set the stop loss to 80 pips, which would break even to the two targets +80 you already hit?

    Thanks,

    Ed

  20. Pierre 21 January 2010 at 12:51 pm #

Well it may not be a good example for GBPUSD.

What i meant is if a conditionnal order is pending on your side but was passed on mine and then you notice that for example price action changed and you cancelled your pending.Well can you add a stop loss for my side order, ie :

You have a pending Sell CADJPY @ 87.00 that was not processed with your broker, my broker processed it because it reached 86.99 according to him. Then price action changed and you told us to cancel the pending, but for me it's not pending, it's live.So must i close it instantly or should i set a SL :

Order ID: .. | Update | $CADJPY Sell 87.00 | Price Action Changed, Cancel Order, in case trade was triggered close it now !

    or

Order ID: .. | Update | $CADJPY Sell 87.00 | Price Action Changed, Cancel Order, in case trade was triggered set stop loss to 87.50.

  21. Azizi 21 January 2010 at 3:27 pm #

    damn fine trading day :)

as for me using firepips's signal already beg in more than 100 pips of profit. Small loses is insignificant. God bless you all the way.

  22. FirePips 21 January 2010 at 9:01 pm #

@Pierre I see your point and it does make sense. From now on whenever something like that happens I'll send updates to include those trades.

@Azizi Appreciate your comments mate :)

  23. FirePips 21 January 2010 at 9:04 pm #

    Hi Ed,

After the second target is hit we move the Stop Loss to original price when you opened the trade. This way the last lot is risk free.

  24. Pierre 21 January 2010 at 9:30 pm #

Thank you for taking my question in consideration.

Awesome work you do, and sharing it is making whole thing more impressive.

  25. ayman 21 January 2010 at 10:21 pm #

  26. FirePips 21 January 2010 at 10:27 pm #
